About Bristol Comedy Festival

The Bristol Comedy Festival returns from 15 – 31 January 2026, with two weeks of brilliant live comedy to brighten up the gloomiest month of the year.

Expect local legends, rising stars and big names like Jayde Adams, Mark Watson, Milo Edwards and Finlay Christie, in amazing venues across the city.

Newly announced performers include five nominees for the 2025 Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show: Dan Tiernan, Ed Night, John Tothill, Katie Norris and Roger O’Sullivan, with O’Sullivan also named the 2025 Comedian’s Choice Award winner. Norris and Tiernan previously showcased early versions of their now-nominated shows at the 2025 festival.

Also added to the bill are Paddy Young, a 2023 Best Newcomer nominee, and Paul Hilleard, the Bristol-based winner of the BBC New Comedy Award 2024.

Supported by Bristol BID and with donations going to support TAP for Bristol, this year's festival is once again helping raise funds for local homelessness charities.
