Bristol Comedy Garden

About

Bristol Comedy Garden is one of the highlights of the UK comedy calendar — a multi-night open-air festival held on College Green in the heart of Bristol each June. Over five evenings, the festival brings together some of the biggest names in stand-up alongside breakthrough performers, all under a large purpose-built marquee that manages to feel both intimate and spectacular.

The line-up typically features a mix of household names and award-winning circuit comedians, with each night built around a headline act supported by some of the best up-and-coming talent in UK comedy. Previous headliners have included some of the most recognisable faces in British stand-up, and the festival has built a reputation for consistently delivering high-quality, sell-out evenings.

The setting is a big part of the appeal. College Green is one of Bristol's most iconic public spaces, and the Comedy Garden transforms it into a proper festival environment — with food and drink traders, a buzzing pre-show atmosphere and the kind of shared energy that only live comedy in a crowd can produce.

Bristol Comedy Garden is a ticketed event. Tickets sell quickly, particularly for headline nights, so booking in advance is strongly recommended.
