About
Bristol Radical Film Festival is the city's home for politically engaged and formally adventurous cinema, a grassroots weekend that pairs every screening with a discussion, a director Q&A or a panel. Built around social and political films from around the world, it brings audiences together not just to watch but to talk, argue and imagine what comes next, in the spirit of Bristol's long radical tradition.
Run on a shoestring by volunteers and hosted at independent venues like the Cube Microplex, it mixes rare archive finds, new documentaries and experimental work with live music, book launches and social events. Affordable, welcoming and proudly independent, it is one of the most distinctive dates on Bristol's film calendar for anyone who believes cinema can still change minds.
Address: The Cube Microplex, Dove Street South, Kingsdown, BS2 8JD
