Bristol Seafood Week is a city-wide celebration of sustainable British seafood, bringing together Bristol's best restaurants, chefs and producers for a week of special menus, collaborative banquets, tastings and hands-on events. Founded by chef Josh Eggleton, the festival shines a light on the quality and diversity of seafood sourced from UK waters, with Bristol's position on the harbour and proximity to the South West coast making it a natural home for the celebration. Restaurants across the city get involved throughout the week with bespoke seafood menus and chef collaborations, making it as much a tour of Bristol's food scene as it is a seafood festival. The week builds to a headline weekend at The Pump House in Hotwells, with banquets, oyster sessions and special events, while the programme also extends to Salt & Malt at Chew Valley Lake.
