Bristol Walk Fest is a city-wide festival celebrating walking across Bristol throughout the whole of May. Running since 2013, the festival brings together dozens of walking providers and local organisations to offer guided walks, tours, talks, workshops and family events that showcase the city's neighbourhoods, green spaces, history and hidden corners.
The programme is curated into themes including Walking for Pleasure; Nature and Wildlife; Health and Wellbeing; Arts, Culture and History; and Walking Sports. With walks available every single day of the month and the majority free to attend, there is something for everyone — whether you're a seasoned rambler or stepping out for the first time.
Bristol Walk Fest is open to all ages and abilities, with routes ranging from gentle local strolls to longer urban explorations. The festival coincides with Living Streets' National Walking Month and culminates in Walk:Bristol, a mass participation walk and celebration with free guided routes of 1, 5 and 10 miles starting and finishing at an event village in Castle Park.
